This shot was inspired by a condition called audio-visual synesthesia. People with this neurological condition associate certain sounds with different colors. When we see someone play the piano we are used to the accompanying sound but here this sense (sound) is eliminated and focus is shifted to the other sensory experience that is a part of this type of synesthesia - color. Many musicians have this and create their music based on what colors the notes produce in their minds.
