For this project we were given footage from Maya Deren’s silent film At Land and told to rearrange it to create our own montage. Seeing parallels between At Land and Alice in Wonderland, I decided to include clips in from several variations of Alice in Wonderland, to create not only a montage but also a cohesive narrative weaving together the lives, adventures and dream-like worlds of Alice and Maya Deren.
